Cemetery History

St. Matthew's Cemetery is a Nondenominational Cemetery serving the needs of all faiths in the Western New York area. Located in a tranquil suburban community, the cemetery offers a large selection of grave sites in a variety of settings to suit your needs and wishes. All areas feature graves allowing upright monuments and flush markers for both traditional and cremation burials. In addition to the original cemetery and garden areas, we have constructed a chapel/office complex that is located in the recently developed Jacob's Garden.

At its inception in 1875, St. Matthew's was a small church cemetery primarily serving the congregation of St. Matthew's Church now located in Hamburg, NY. As the cemetery has grown to meet the needs of the community at large, our mission has remained the same:to provide a dignified, attractive cemetery in an atmosphere that is warm and personal.
