St. Matthew’s Cemetery
Photography and Videography Policy

St. Matthew’s Cemetery, part of The Forest Lawn Group, is private property, and all visitors are asked to respect the privacy of our families and their family members who are buried here. St. Matthew’s Cemetery welcomes photographers, film companies, members of the press and academia to photograph the beauty of this Cemetery, subject to The Forest Lawn Group’s Photography and Videography Policy. St. Matthew’s Cemetery will make every effort to accommodate requests while respecting the privacy of our families.

ONLY PHOTOGRAPHS FOR PERSONAL/PRIVATE USE ARE ALLOWED WITHOUT ADVANCE APPROVAL.

Photography for use in news, commercial film, video, advertising, promotion, publications or on websites is allowed only with cemetery approval prior to filming or taking photographs. Such approval may be condition upon execution of The Forest Lawn Group’s Commercial Film/Photography Agreement and payment of a usage fee.

All photography and videography requests should be submitted to the St. Matthew’s Cemetery office for review at least five (5) days in advance of the scheduled shoot date.
