A final resting place.

An urn is a decorative container specifically designed to hold a cremated body. It can be anything from a simple wooden box, to a ceramic vase, to a stone bench or even a one-of-a-kind bronze sculpture. The urn may be buried in-ground, or placed in a niche in our columbarium or mausoleum.

At St. Matthew’s, you can bring an urn provided by your funeral director or another source. For a list of area Funeral Professionals please contact the Erie Niagara Funeral Directors Association.

For more information about urns, please call one of our Family Service Representatives at (716) 822-1960, or email smc@stmatthewscemetery.com.
